Ways to Serve

Facility Setup

Every Sunday families help with setting up before and cleaning after the service, including providing refreshments, greeting, and more. Providing this service goes a long way in helping the Sundays go more smoothly.

Sunday School

During the school year, there is Sunday School for both adults and children. Children learn the basics of the Gospel, along with Bible history and lessons. The adults this year are going through a series on the biographies of lesser-known heroes of the faith.

Child Care

Children are a gift from the Lord. Parents are encouraged to have their children sit with them during the worship service as early as they’re able. A nursery staffed with caring people is provided to those parents in need.

Bible Study

Men’s and women’s Bible studies are held in homes and in the church facility. These are studies centered in the Bible. You are cordially invited to discover the treasures stored up for us in the Scriptures.

Hospitality

The Orthodox Presbyterian Church of Rio Rancho is known for its hospitality to people. Opportunities abound for Christian people to host visitors and others in their homes. Once a month the church gathers for a fellowship meal together, to which everyone is invited to participate in the fellowship and preparation of food.

Youth Camp

A summer youth camp is available each year for ages 11 to 18. The camp is a week long and is full of meaningful Bible preaching and teaching, excitement and sports, talent shows and creativity, and it provides for relationships to blossom and deepen.
