Ways to ServeChild CareChildren are a gift from the Lord. Parents are encouraged to have their children sit with them during the worship service as early as they're able. A nursery staffed with caring people is provided to those parents in need. Opportunities to serve in the nursery are available and always appreciated.Facility SetupFamilies take turns monthly to help prepare the facility for morning worship. Facility Setup volunteers are always welcomed.HospitalityThe Orthodox Presbyterian Church of Rio Rancho is known for its hospitality to people. Opportunities abound for Christian people to host visitors and others in their homes. Once a month the church gathers for a fellowship meal together, to which everyone is invited to participate in the fellowship and preparation of food.Sunday SchoolDuring the school year, graded Sunday school classes are provided by caring and competent teachers. The church normally uses material published by Great Commission Publication, which is widely used among Reformed and Presbyterian Churches.Bible StudiesMen's and women's Bible studies are held in homes and in the church facility. These are studies centered in the Bible. You are cordially invited to discover the treasures stored up for us in the Scriptures.Youth CampA summer youth camp is available each year for ages 11 to 18. The camp is a week long and is full of meaningful Bible preaching and teaching, excitement and sports, talent shows and creativity, and it provides for relationships to blossom and deepen. For many youth in our churches, the youth camp is the highlight of their year. The camp also provides an opportunity for adults to assist as counselors and work crew personnel. These are concentrated times of discovery and friendships, as the participants gather to learn and share together.
