Sunday School Series
Stories and discussion of men and women in church history
September through May
At the Orthodox Presbyterian Church of Rio Rancho, you will find a congregation that is unswervingly committed to the Bible as the Word of God. You will also find a group of joyful and grateful Christians who earnestly desire to serve the risen Christ and one another.
Each Sunday we meet to worship God in a reverent, joyful and simple manner, to be strengthened in faith by hearing Christ proclaimed from the Scriptures, to encourage and help one another in our Christian walk, and to be sent into the world to bear witness through lives that have been transformed by the gospel. Are you looking for a place where the Bible is still taught and believed, and where God is still worshipped with reverence and awe? Are you interested in learning more about God and his Word? We cordially invite you to join us.
What We Believe
The Orthodox Presbyterian Church believes that the Bible is the authoritative Word of God, the only infallible rule for our faith and conduct. At the Rio Rancho congregation you will find that the Bible alone gives us the correct knowledge of who God is and how we may please him. The Bible teaches that God the Father gave up his Son Jesus Christ to death on the cross to pay the penalty for the sins of his people. We want to share with you the joy that comes from a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ.

Men’s and women’s Bible studies are held in homes and in the church facility. These are studies centered in the Bible. You are cordially invited to discover the treasures stored up for us in the Scriptures.
During the school year, graded Sunday school classes are provided by caring and competent teachers. The church normally uses material published by Great Commission Publication, which is widely used among Reformed and Presbyterian Churches.
The Orthodox Presbyterian Church of Rio Rancho is known for its hospitality to people. Opportunities abound for Christian people to host visitors and others in their homes. Once a month the church gathers for a fellowship meal together, to which everyone is invited to participate in the fellowship and preparation of food.
Children are a gift from the Lord. Parents are encouraged to have their children sit with them during the worship service as early as they’re able. A nursery staffed with caring people is provided to those parents in need.
